Eldorado is the Blackbird XLC’s lighter more frugal cousin. The Eldorado and XLC are both built from the same hammock body, the only difference being the netting. The Eldorado omits the XLC’s famous storage shelf in favor of saving weight and money. It incorporates a unique stuffsac that clips directly to the hammock’s ridgeline to work as a ridgeline storage pocket for storing any essentials.
Compared to the same model XLC, the Eldorado is about 56 grams lighter and fits users up to 198 cm (6’6″), same as the XLC does. Like the XLC, the Eldorado net top and winter top will zip onto both XLC and Eldorado model hammocks.

It combines a traditional ripstop weave with a bias-directional diamond grid to create a fabric that has an incredibly comfortable cotton-like texture. Add in a fantastic strength to weight ratio and just the right amount of stretch and you have an ideal hammock fabric. 40 denier 1.6 osy

- Reversible top allows you to remove and “flip the net” to create a mirror-image or “reverse” lay configuration if desired…Head left, Head right, the choice is yours.
- All tops incorporate a 7″ wide strip of fabric or netting to raise the canopy’s edge-height above your face so that all of the hammock body width is useable, allowing you to lay right to the edge of the zipper while still having plenty of headroom. This gives the effect of wider body fabric but at a lighter weight.
- Multiple suspension options that are easily removable and interchangeable.

(allowing you to use just a small tarp even in winter).
- Can be setup on the ground as a bug bivy. Be sure to use a groundcloth and pad underneath to protect the hammock fabric.
- Elastic side guyline to pull the netting away from and out of your face. Can be removed if desired.

Should be mandatory reading for police academies and be in every cops' patrol bag
This book should be mandatory reading for police academies and be in every cops' patrol bag for quick reference. I am a police officer (8+ years) and stay on top of search and seizure case law as much as possible. This book is easy to read and gets the essential information on everything that has to do with police search and seizure. The topics are easy to find, and all are no more than 1-2 pages. Every sections cites the appropriate case law and offers tips for articulating PC for that type of incident.

Very helpful for law enforcement
Got this book recently and I am very impressed and happy I purchased it. I will keep this review short and to the point. This book covers everything with various searches including, cars, homes, etc. Anyone that works in law enforcement should pick this up as it provides what you can and cannot do, along with example cases. Great guide for any rookie and even vets that need a refresher.
